MEET OUR STAFF: MR READER

In five words: geeky, cheeky, funny , caring and excitable.

Most prized possession? My Granddads pocket watch. It stopped a bullet in the war and saved his life. Without it I wouldn’t be here.

Favourite biscuit?  Jammy dodger mate!

Top film?  Ghostbusters or Back To the Future

Favourite song? The Chain - Fleetwood Mac

Best book? (children’s)  Conrad's War

What is your guilty secret? I listen to hip-hop while I mark books.

Interests: Gaming, Drawing, Comic books, Travelling,

Favourite place you have visited? China, Iceland .... I really want to go to Japan

If I won the lottery I would … I would give my Mum half the winnings. Then I would travel the world , buy a jetpack and/ or become Batman.

The best thing about being a teacher is …The children; they are the funniest, most inquisitive people on the planet… oh and the holidays…and the anecdotes… and the banter ...and staple guns 

At school I was … quiet, shy and invisible

If I’ve learned one thing, it’s …to learn from my mistakes and to not care what people think of me.

Tell us your best joke. A guy walked into a bar with his giraffe. He ordered a drink, and the giraffe lay down beside him. The bartender barked angrily, "Excuse me, but you can't leave that lying there!" "Err," the man said, "It's not a lion. It’s a giraffe’’

Something not a lot of people know about me is … I used to skateboard …*sigh*

The celebrity I’d most like to have as a teacher at my school is... Chris Pratt

If I wasn’t a teacher, I would be … A Pokémon trainer , comic book artist, computer game designer or policeman like my old man.
