We enjoyed taking part in the 'Adopt an Underpass' project organised by the council to celebrate Stevenage New Town's 70th birthday as well as marking our school’s 40th anniversary. This collaborative art project has been a great way to appreciate each other’s contributions and unique skills. The project has been a great way to build relationships within our community. It has provided an opportunity to connect and enhance our community through art and inspire one another through creativity.
We were pleased to be joined with guests, the Mayor of Stevenage, Councillor John Lloyd and his wife, the Mayoress Councillor Mrs Joan Lloyd for the exhibition. The Mayor and Mayoress both shared their dreams too!
It was lovely to see many parents, carers, invited guests and passing members of the community at the exhibition. Thank you for sharing your own dreams for the future of our local community. It's been fascinating listening to the children and adults about their ideas as well as seeing the creativity and patience involved in the detail of every single dream jar.
