Little Acorns

Little Acorns is our in house breakfast, lunch (for part time nursery children) and after school childcare for children from Nursery to year 2 and siblings. The club is led by Mrs Carter and Mrs Koppala

Breakfast Club
Breakfast club starts at 7:45 am, with drop off being at the green gate next to the main entrance of the school, and runs until the start of school when staff members will take the children to their classes. The children have a variety of cereals to choose from and fruit is available. Children can then take part in different activities such as colouring, puzzles, games and reading after they have finished eating.

Lunch Club
Lunch club is for the 15 hour Nursery children either before or after their Nursery session. This includes a hot meal served at a table with their friends, lots of fun play outside in the Reception garden, playing various games and activities, and at the end a story to bring everyone together to get ready for home time at 12:30, or for their Nursery session.

Tea Club
At the end of the school day the Little Acorns team will collect the children from their classrooms and bring them to the Family Centre or hall where they have access to various toys such as marble run and lego, as well as games like frustration (which is a firm favourite among the children!) and access to the outside area. They will enjoy spending lots of time exploring the treehouse before coming in to sit together for a snack and to talk about their school day and other interests.
